Secrest Sport Science makes performance reports and a phone app (Secrest SS) for sporting clubs and organizations. Your organization decides what is collected about you, and we handle it for them. We don't sell your data, show ads, track you across other apps or sites, or share your data with other clubs or agents.
You can ask to delete your account at any time: in the app, tap your photo, then Delete my account.
Secrest Sport Science LLC ("we") runs sport science reporting and the Secrest SS app for the clubs we work with. Your club or organization (“your club”) controls your data, and we process it for them under a written agreement.
| What | From |
|---|---|
| Name, email address, sign-in times | Your club, when it invites you, and the sign-in service |
| Photo, shirt number, position, country | Your club's staff |
| Daily check-ins: sleep, nutrition, hydration, stress, energy, etc. | You, in the app |
| Gym work: sets, loads, reps, session ratings | You, in the app |
| GPS, force-plate and other testing, thermal scans, availability and injury notes | Your club and its equipment providers |
| A record of who opened or changed which page, when, and from which IP address and device | Our servers, so your club can see who has looked at your data |
The last page you opened, your Face ID setting and your reminder times stay on your phone. So the app opens without signal, it also keeps a copy of your own pages that you have opened, and deletes it when you sign out. We never receive face or fingerprint data, and reminders never include your name or numbers.
If you allow notifications, we store the address Apple or Google uses to reach your phone. A notification only says something is waiting; the message and your data stay in the app. Signing out removes the address.
We don't collect your location, contacts, photo library (beyond a photo you choose to upload) or advertising IDs, and we use no analytics or tracking tools.
To manage your training load, catch injury risk early, guide return to play, show you your own data in the app, and keep the service secure. Your check-in is not a test and is not used to discipline you.
Your club's performance and medical staff, Secrest Sport Science, and you. You never see teammates' data. These providers help run the service, each holding only what it needs:
| Provider | What it does | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare, Inc. | Hosts your club's site, database and storage | United States |
| Clerk, Inc. | Sign-in: names, emails, sign-in times. No report data. | United States |
| Apple Inc. | Delivers iPhone notifications. No report data. | United States |
Apple and Google deliver the app through their stores. We tell your club in writing before adding any other provider. We never sell or rent personal data.
While your club works with us, unless you or your club ask for deletion sooner. When the club's agreement ends, its data is deleted on the timeline that agreement sets. The access record is kept online for 12 months, then archived for the club until its agreement ends plus one year. Backups expire on their own within about 13 months.
All connections are encrypted. Sign-in needs your own password, and you can add Face ID or Touch ID. Every view, change, export and deletion of player data is logged for your club to review.
The service is for athletes and staff invited by their club. It isn't meant for anyone under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we update the date above, tell clubs, and the app asks you to read the change.
Your club's sport scientist can answer most questions about your data. You can also email contact@secrestsportscience.com or use the form on secrestsportscience.com.
